Zhaleo unveils foundation stone of TUD office complex

DIMAPUR

Advisor, sericulture, excise & minority Zhaleo Rio on Thursday unveiled the foundation stone for new office complex of Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD)
at TUD Complex Dimapur.
In a press release, NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C media secretary, Thejangukho Yalietsu informed that while speaking at the programme as special guest, Zhaleo pointed out that Tenyimi people had come a long way since inception of the union 46 years ago.
He advised them to forge brotherhood ties through love and unity and said that it was time to spread love and positive attitude sharing not only among the 11 tribes but to the people around them in Dimapur and Nagas in general.
Urging everyone to work for the upliftment and prosperity of Naga people, Zhaleo lamented that Nagas had the “tendency to create negative vibes without rhyme or reason”.
We should inculcate good habits or practices of other tribes and people groups which would impact the society positively, he stated.
He assured to lend his hand towards construction of the new office complex and advocated for all Tenyimi people to contribute their might as responsible members.
Calling upon the people to support leaders, the advisor said that understanding, cooperation and unity among the people was indispensable for a better tomorrow.
He urged the people to introspect further, consider all challenges ahead and strive together “as we move into the new year”.
The programme was chaired by TUD president Vekhosayi Nyekha while TBC Dimapur associate pastor, Zakie Terhüja invoked God’s blessings and building committee report was tabled by building committee convenor, Tsathvü C. Thevüry.
Speeches were also delivered by commissioner of police, Dimapur, Rothihü Tetseo and APO president Razouvotuo Chatsu while TWUD president Neivi proposed the vote of thanks and Hindi Baptist Church Dimapur pastor, Rev. Peuhau N. Hau said the benediction.
